Pet Lovers! Join YeePet.com

In October 2009, I joined a website called YeePet.com. What intrigued me the most when I started was how you are able to set up a profile for yourself and one for each of your pets. I thought that was great because it allowed me to keep my dog's information separate from mine. You can enter your pet's birthday but leave your's a mystery and keep each profile updated with separate pictures.

The site also makes it easy to search for people or pets. You can join groups run by members, vote on pet's pictures (give an "adorable" or "sweet" or even "one of a kind" votes), and make new friends within minutes. The blogs section is chalk full of interesting, funny, and intelligent posts and there really is something for everyone.

One of the most important features to mention is how the site has a contributing Vet who posts blogs and answers question in the forums regularly. There is no cost to ask a question on the site, making it a huge positive for the website.

There is no cost for anything on the site. In fact, you can get products for free. After you set up a profile, you start earning points right away. You get points for doing pretty much anything and everything on the website from adding a friends to posting a blog. Once you have enough points, go to the gift center and "buy" products such as special leashes, dog treats, or even a "dog license" which looks like a driver's license with your pet's picture on it.

Everyone on the site is very helpful and friendly. There is a sense of community and friendship on the site. Many of the members create events around where they live. These events are usually meetups for people and their pets. This is a great way to get to know fellow pet lovers in your area in a safe and comfortable way.

The reason I am writing a hub about this is because I really enjoy being a part of the site and wanted to share my find with other people. I know many hubbers out there have pets and would benefit from being part of a website like YeePet.com. It really is fun! I have been spending more time on that website instead of this one, so sorry if you miss me around here. At least you know where I will be!
