10 Worst Houshold Chores Countdown

We all have to do them, but none of us want to. Household chores are pretty much a fact of life unless you have enough money to hire someone to do it for you. Out of everything that has to be done in order to keep a house clean, organized, and running smoothly, there are 10 chores that top my "Worst Household Chores" list. Here is the list in order from what I don't mind to what I hate. Your list might be in a different order, so let me know! Leave a comment!

10 Worst Household Chores:

10. Cooking= I really don't mind cooking too much. It might be because it is in my genes (my father is a chef), or because I don't do it that often. I prefer baking over cooking, but only use the stove/range once or twice a month. I don't know what I would do without that microwave!  

9. Vacuum= I only have a small area rug, so I do not have to vacuum that often. I do use a handheld Dust Buster for the areas where my dog's fur tends to collect.  

8. Dusting= Getting the Pledge or other multi surface cleaner out and cleaning off the TV, the table, and all the other surfaces around the house can be a hassle. But I don't hate it as much as... 

7. Windows= I am definitely one of those people who do not do windows. I will only do them if I have to. Right now, I am renting, so I do not have to clean the outside of the house. The landlord pays someone to do that once a year.  

6. Kitchen: Sink, counters, stove....= Cleaning the counters and cupboards is not that bad if it is kept up with. However, if it is not kept up, the kitchen can look like a disaster. I think everyone goes through that when they first move out on their own.  

5. Mopping/Floors= All I have to say is Swiffer. Thank you.  

4. Dishes/Dishwasher= Loading the dishwasher is not bad. Unloading it is what I do not like. I don't know why, but unloading the dishwasher and putting the dishes in the cupboards is something I really do not look forward to.  

3. Garbage= This is the one chore that I make my husband do. Somehow he seems to get out of doing it most of the time, though. Garbage is just gross.  

2. Bathrooms: Toilet, sink, shower, tub....= I think most people will agree with me on this one. Toilets and showers can be very gross. I am a fan of those products that make the bathroom a place I do not have to touch. FYI, the Kaboom Never Scrub toilet cleaner really does work.  

And my #1 least favorite household chore:

1. Laundry= I was debating on this or the bathrooms chore for number one until I realized I use those products that make it so I do not have to touch the bathroom. I don't mind putting the clothes in the washer, but I usually forget to put the clothes in the dryer when they are done. What I really do not like about doing the laundry, what makes it my number 1 least favorite household chore, is folding them and putting the clothes back in the closet or in drawers. It takes up so much time and it is so frustrating. Then, two days later, I go to get a shirt or skirt and have to iron it because it was folded in a drawer.
